These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Frayed Games at https://frayedgames.com (the "Site"), including any games, content, and features we offer. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About the service

Frayed Games provides free-to-play browser games and related content for entertainment. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

4. Games and user content

Games on the Site are provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Game rules, scores, and save data may be stored locally in your browser unless we offer cloud saves in the future.

If we allow you to submit content (such as feedback or comments), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and adapt that content in connection with operating the Site. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software (excluding third-party materials), is owned by Frayed Games or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Our games and branding may not be used without permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, and assets belong to their respective owners. Unsplash or other stock imagery used for placeholders does not imply endorsement.

6. Advertisements

The Site may display third-party advertisements. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. We are not responsible for the content of ads or external sites linked from ads.

7. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND GAMES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRAYED GAMESAND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO FOR FREE SERVICES) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Frayed Games and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be noted on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Frayed Games is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to resolve disputes informally by contacting us first at contact@frayedgames.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
